By using the TapRates platform you agree to these terms.
TapRates is a SaaS platform for managing business reviews via QR/NFC. Every customer chooses their own channel — a Google review, private feedback, or both — and the service complies with Google Business Profile policy.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Account information must be accurate and truthful.
You are solely responsible for how you use TapRates with your own customers and for your own Google Business Profile. In particular, you agree NOT to:
These practices may violate Google's policies and consumer-protection laws (including the US FTC Rule on Consumer Reviews, the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, and the UK DMCC Act). You — not TapRates — are responsible for your own compliance with review-platform policies and the laws that apply to your business. We provide a neutral collection tool that invites every customer on equal terms; we may suspend an account that uses it for prohibited review practices.
If you connect a Google account, you authorize TapRates to read your reviews and post your replies through the official Google Business Profile API. Scopes are limited to what you approve on the OAuth consent screen; access tokens remain encrypted; replies are posted only when you explicitly send them. You can disconnect the integration from the dashboard at any time — we delete the tokens immediately and purge the cached copies of your Google reviews. In line with Google's API policy, cached Google review content is kept for no more than 30 days without re-confirmation. We do not control and are not responsible for Google's own ranking, filtering, removal, or profile-suspension decisions.
Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time. No refunds for the current billing period.
You can permanently delete your account from Settings. All data is removed within 30 days.
TapRates and all its content are our property. Your data and your customers' reviews remain yours.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant any particular outcome — including review volume, ratings, search ranking, or how any third-party platform (such as Google) ranks, displays, filters, removes, or moderates your reviews or profile.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapRates' total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, up to a maximum of USD 5,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or reputational damages, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, and consumers keep their mandatory statutory protections.
We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of essential providers (Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, Google), denial-of-service attacks, or measures imposed by authorities.
We reserve the right to modify these terms with 30 days' notice by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
